The Possibly Useful Bend
A small bundle keeps rolling off the shelf. Nori has stood it upright, leaned it against a leaf and balanced it beside a stone. Each arrangement works until somebody touches the table. Bruno watches the bundle roll once more, then looks towards his possibly useful bend.
He is careful not to announce that every saved thing has finally proved him right. This piece has a shape that might help one particular job. Fina lays it beside the bundle and compares the curves. The bend could cradle the roll without hiding what is inside it.
Two ways forward
Nori tests the idea with an empty bundle first. It stays in place. Then they try the actual light materials, keeping the shelf edge clear. The room has gained a useful holder and lost one unassigned piece. Bruno feels pleased in a way that differs from the pleasure of finding something new. Where should this small discovery live?
Keep it as a shared shelf holder
Bruno turns the awkward bend one more time. Its shadow looks like a question mark. Nori offers it an answer, but Fina turns it again. Now it looks like a place for something else to rest. They settle the bend beside the bundle and mark its outline lightly on the shelf. Returning the roll becomes easy. Bruno no longer needs to remember a private balancing trick before anybody else can use the materials.
A good place to stop
The odd piece has found a possible job. Bruno does not need to keep every other piece to celebrate that. Fina leaves room around the new discovery so it can be seen.

Public books are free to read. Personal story creation and new natural narration are currently a limited free beta, subject to a shared monthly allowance. Prepared books remain readable when that allowance rests.

Yes. Mary’s Fairyland Stories is designed for a web browser, with a spacious computer layout and touch-friendly reading on phones and tablets.
How are the stories made?
AI creates the text, illustrations and natural narration. Automated checks review language, age suitability and pictures. AI can make mistakes, so reading together is encouraged.
